Shem Compion has been professionally photographing for over 22 years. His adventurous life has led him up numerous volcanos; he once travelled continuously for 7 months living in a Landrover and has built specialized photographic hides, all in pursuit of images of relevance.
Shem shares his experiences with his guests, whom he guides to remote corners of Africa via C4 Photo Safaris.
His images have been recognized and published globally. A native of Africa, Shem is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. To date, he has published 7 books.
