This is the full-length presentation by Guy where he will be able to go into much more detail than his introductory talk on how to capture the beauty of the natural world in the best light and the most atmospheric conditions possible. This presentation is of interest to anyone wanting to improve or learn the key fundamentals about landscape photography but, as Guy is also a very accomplished Wildlife Photographer his style will be of particular interest to all our wildlife photographer followers and will lead to special wildlife-focussed events coming soon. Guy is quoted as saying “Wherever I’m working I try to capture atmosphere and drama in my images. I also try to capture subjects in new ways, often working on new techniques in order to produce a unique image", we will learn of that approach taking in his stunning imagery from some of the world’s most spectacular landscape and wildlife locations, such as; Costa Rica, Ecuador, Iceland, Africa and many countries in Europe. Guy's presentations have a strong technical element, so you will learn of the many techniques he uses to capture atmospheric and engaging images of the natural world – concentrating on landscape, but with wildlife focussed talks to follow. He will speak about how he plans a shoot to increase his success and will show some of the equipment he uses, explaining how it benefits his photography. There will be examples of field-based techniques as well as post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Guy is keen to describe his process for ensuring front to back sharpness in landscape images and he will show how he handles high contrast landscape scenes, both in the field and on the computer. Photography Experts bring you the very best photographers who excel at their craft but also deliver a top-quality Web presentation that is as entertaining as it is informative. In each presentation the Expert not only shares their stunning imagery with you but the detail of where and how the image was taken, they will give you their own personal insights on composition and settings not available anywhere else in this format. We seriously recommend registration and participation in the live event for the chance to ask questions directly yourself or listen to the answers they give to other participants. Only registrants to the live event will have access to the Q&A content as well as being given a 72 hour post event streaming of the event, so even if for some reason you are unable to attend you still get to see the full event.
