Tiger - Bengal Tiger

Andy Parkinson

Join Andy as he takes us on a journey to the single destination with the highest density of tigers on Earth, India’s famed Bandhavgarh National Park.
Andy has been visiting Bandhavgarh since 2006 and the body of work that he has been able to produce on this critically endangered big cat is largely unrivalled. From close-up portraits to revealing tigers as part of their beautiful habitat Andy’s images will illustrate to you just why Bandhavgarh is Andy’s most popular photographic destination.

‘Andy will detail just why the team that he works with on the ground is so important, and how the expertise of these renowned tiger experts has unlocked so many fantastic encounters.

Photographically Andy will also break down his obsessive desire to always try and raise the bar photographically never adhering to the ‘that’ll do’ philosophy, instead his determined obsession is about getting everything right in the moment, from perspective, to light, to backdrop whilst anticipating what the tiger will likely do next.

This is Photography Experts first event in on India  so we will be pushing Andy to give all the background information on getting there and any considerations photographers should be mindful of , what to expect when entering the National Parks and of course all the other photographic opportunities from Sloth Bears, the Chittal Deer to the Langar Monkeys and beyond.

We will also get into the smaller, easily overlooked details that make the best images something that Andy who has won over 100 national and international awards in all of the world’s most prestigious photographic competitions, and  represents Nikon as their  Ambassador for Wildlife’  takes great pride in.

All registrants will  be sent a link to watch this event for 3 weeks after the live show and also receive some of Andy's previous recordings so register and know you will get to see the event if you are unable to make the live session.
